Origin Zip Code For Each Item

Now you can set origin zip codes for any item in your Yahoo! Store with the Advanced Shipping Manager's Origin Zip Code feature. Shipping calculations are based on the origin zip codes that you specify. When working with dropshippers and wholesalers, this feature saves you valuable time and money by reducing shipping errors and ensuring your don't undercharge for shipping.

If a customer adds items to their shopping cart that have different origin zip codes, the shipping charge will reflect the total cost for the multiple shipments needed to ship all items in the order.

For example:
A customer adds a shirt and a hat to their cart. The shirt and hat's origin zip code is 10021 in NY. Then, the customer adds a pair of shoes to the cart. The shoe's origin zip code is 94511 in CA. The order requires 2 shipments. The customer is located in zip code 75201 in TX. The Advanced Shipping Manager would calculate the cost for shipping the shirt and hat from 10021 to 75201, and then add the cost for shipping the shoes from 94511 to 75201. Finally, the 2 costs are added together and shown as the shipping charge in the checkout.
